People Living was completed in March 2005 and was a breakout album for Sam.

Recorded in Atlanta GA with producer songwriter Dan Hannon, People Living mixes rock and roll, neo soul, and old school R&B (think John Mayer meets John Legend) and features guest performances by Trey Anastacio’s band member Skeeto Valdez and keyboardist Terrell Taylor.
From the rousing cover of Shuggie Otis’ “Inspiration Information” to the gospel inspired song of hope “Countin On Love“, People Living takes the listener back to a time when soul music was about passion and awareness in the world around us.
